Jean-Michel lives in the slums of Port-au-Prince in Haïti. He loves acrobatics, and wants to enter an upcoming gymnastics competition, but he doesn’t have the resources to enter the competition. He decides to go to a local park, where he impresses some tourists, as well as a wealthy boy, who collectively give him enough money to compete. He ends up winning the event, and with the prize money, he buys his mother a new dress that she has wanted for a very long time, but didn’t have the funds.
